Harrahs has just released a block of rooms at a discount rate for UFBC competitors. Rooms will be $75.00 per night from June 2nd-6th. They will only be able to be booked up until May 20th at that rate.
So if you are still looking for a room, or know someone who is looking for a room who is coming to compete, or even watch, perhaps you just want a close place to crash on finals night. It doesnt get much closer or cheaper for center strip Las Vegas.
There is a limited amount of rooms availible, so if you are interested try and book soon.

Flair Mixologists of the World!!
The most unique flair bartending event of the year is back... the DeKUYPER BLUE BLAZER CHALLENGE - Where Flair Meets Mixology. This June 15-17 the Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas will once again play host to the event that is namesake of Jerry Thomas' (the original flair mixologist) most famous cocktail. A brand new, and sole, sponsor this year, DeKuyper USA is offering up $10,000 to the Blue Blazer Grand champion and over $25,000 in total cash & prizes.
Registration is now open and the Rules are currently posted at www.blue-blazer.com.
We will be kicking off the event on Sunday June 15th with the Event Registration (Mandatory for ALL competitors). Qualifying will be Monday, June 16th with the Grand Finals on Tuesday, June 17th. Keep an eye on the Blue Blazer website for the official itinerary.
The entry fee schedule is as follows:
$175 - Early Bird - April 15th (Closed)
$195 - April 15th - May 15th
$225 - May 15th - June 5th (Registration Closes)
$395 - AT EVENT (Cash ONLY)
Registration is limited to 30 competitors. This is a LEVEL 4 event on the FBA Pro Tour.
For your entry fee you will receive the following
- 1 Blue Blazer Event T-shirt
- 1 Blue Blazer Event Bottle
- 1 Blue Blazer Event DVD
- 1 Entry into the Blue Blazer Challenge

Die DCM-Vorentscheidung in der Kategorie Flairtending wird am
13. Januar 2008
im Hilton City Hotel in München stattfinden.
Bei der Vorentscheidung werden 4 Flairtender für die DCM 2008 in Berlin ermittelt. Der Sieger vertritt Deutschland dann 2009 bei der WCC.

The Austrian Flair Combat flair bartending competition will be held on Sunday, April 13th and Monday, April 14th at the NiteFlight Lounge in Graz, Austria. This event is meant as a fun competition for both the competitors and those in attendance.
Each competing bartender will perform one exhibition flair round with 2 drinks. The Austrian Flair Combat is a Level 4 event on the 2008 FBA Pro WORLD Tour.
JUDGES
Jim Allison (FBA Master Certified Judge, FBA President)
Mike McLean (FBA Master Certified Judge, FBA VP, Flairco, Inc.)
Robin Weiss (FBA Certified Judge, FBA Board of Directors)
Martin Schlamberger (Event Organizer)
Qualifying rounds will be 4 minutes and Finals will be 6 minutes.
Entry Fee to this competition will be $150.00 USD
All 10 finalists will receive a trophy
